Hide Your Age!

A lot of women forget about their throat and chest area but it is essential to hiding your true age. Keep those areas hydrated and no one will ever know. Another great reason: to keep your breasts from falling. We all know they are going to fall but let's slow down the process. Try Votre Vu Portait Collar. Those areas are 3x thicker than your face so you want to use something specifically made for that skin. Your regular moisturizer can't handle the job.  It's never too late to start taking care of you!

To Apply: Use it 3-4 times a week at first and eventually you can use it everyday. Upwards in the middle of your throat; downwards on the sides. Downwards on your chest area.

Simple Makeup Tips

Beauty

Taking pictures? Avoid Titanium Dioxide, Zinc and Paba in your moisturizer and/or foundation. The flash from the camera will make your face look pale.

Tinted Moisturizer- It’s great for evening out your skin and giving you some color but make sure you put on your regular moisturizer first. The tint can seep into dry spots resulting in splotches.

The jawline is the best place to test your foundation color

Your makeup should emulate your wardrobe.

Examples: Silk Dress- makeup should have shimmer, light sheen, little dewey

Wool Suit- Matte makeup

Save Your Skin!

Summer is here!

Skin Care Tips to help you get through it

What can you do to protect your face from the sun? We all know the answer to that is sunscreen! What we forget to do is re-apply! Actually, staying out of the sun is best way to protect yourself but that probably isn’t going to happen; wearing a hat is also another way. Applying sunscreen in the morning is not enough to last you all day, especially if you are fair-skinned. Even people with darker skin can burn. Obviously it would take longer but I have seen it happen.

Your face and your hands will show your age. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen on the tops of your hands.

Here is a little math to help you determine how often you should re-apply.

30 minutes (How long it takes you to burn)

x  8 SPF

= 240 (4 hours)

That means you need to re-apply your sunscreen every 4 hours. If you are swimming, playing sports or anything that would cause you to get wet or sweat, apply sooner.

If you have a facial moisturizer that does not contain an SPF, you can add a face SPF lotion to it and mix together. You can still use the moisturizer you love and protect yourself!
